If there’s one thing I know, it’s that being surrounded by a circle of sisters in Christ is one of the most powerful forces for positive change in my life. As I studied for my new book I Am a Woman (coming in June!), I discovered a little-known secret: the Hebrew word for Sister means “A Hearth Around the Fire.” Being surrounded with sisters who love me, challenge me, and pray for me has made all the difference for me. In order to live out our faith, we ALL need a Circle of Sisters to hold us up!
I spoke on this message recently, opening my heart to the pain of losing a sister I loved, and shared the power of surrounding ourselves with sisters who are “bricks around the fire” in our most difficult times.
As I studied the deep meaning of the word Sisters, I realized our ministry can do more to surround women and girls with faithful friendships that offer spiritual depth and help them grow closer to God. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we are launching the Circle of Sisters Book Clubs & Bible Studies. Starting February 22, I will be leading Bible studies online and in person, and have created curriculum kits to give you everything you need to host your own.
Each season, we will feature a new book and study for women and girls ages 13 & up. (Titus 2:4-8 says older women are to train younger women, and we are most effective when we fulfill this mandate.)
The first study will feature the newly updated Girl Perfect & the Girl Perfect Study Guide. It will help you (and your daughters):
align your self-image with God’s view of you
break free from eating disorders, self-harm, and poor self image
tell your story with compassion and clarity
reach out to young women who need your help
find fulfillment in who God says you are
This is a powerful study for older women, and teens love it too. So let’s dive in together and see what God will do! Click on the image below to learn more and get signed up for my online or in person studies, or host your own!

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
At the age of 18, I was recovering from an eating disorder, cutting, and suicide when I read Jennifer Strickland’s book Girl Perfect and it changed my life. At the age of 33, as I travel the world reaching youth for the gospel, this is the only book I recommend to girls who are struggling. The Lord has truly anointed Jennifer’s words through her story, not only to address the struggles of today’s generation of girls, but also to walk them through the healing necessary for victory.
Jennifer is a captivating speaker. She keeps the listener hanging in wonder of what’s coming next! Her presentation is not only absorbing, it reveals the truth of God’s power to heal a wounded spirit.

“The ‘P’ word [perfection] may be the heaviest burden women bear. All the misguided things we do to attain it can keep us away from what we need most – the unconditional love of God the Father. The Girl Perfect Study Guide gives you a map to the wholeness you were created for.”
Nancy Ortberg, author and former teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church
“The Girl Perfect Study Guide shatters the lies girls and women believe and points to the ultimate truth, which really does set us free. I am confident that this study will help thousands discover a beauty, purpose, and worth that truly lasts. Thank you Jen for exposing the ‘perfect life’ and inviting girls to experience God’s ‘perfect love.'”

One of the best testaments to what Jennifer is doing for the young girls and women of today is a comment from my eleven-year-old granddaughter: “Grammy, I want to read this book and hear her again. She’s good and I learned a lot.” This is exactly what I experienced from a grown-up perspective when I was introduced to Jennifer Strickland’s amazing story. Read it and see if you don’t get the real story from an icon model and a powerful speaker of truth.”
