Inspired by the floods in Houston, Jennifer Strickland wrote this poem to inspire sisters in Christ to cheer one another on, believe in one another, help one another, and above all, pray for one another.

“When the waters rise,

for you to drown,

I will tell you–

Hold onto your crown.

I will call your name from distant shore

To remind–

I love you more. . . .”
